Beyond apparel like shirts, socks and other performance wear, adidas produced 1 million pairs of shoes with Parley Ocean Plastic® in 2017, then 5 million in 2018, 11 million in 2019. Parley worked to develop the world’s first supply chain for upcycled marine waste and created Ocean Plastic® as a powerful symbol of change. Initially sourced from islands in the Maldives, they have now expanded the collection network to the Dominican Republic and Sri Lanka too, creating a steady demand for plastic waste that would otherwise end up in the Indian Ocean and the Caribbean Sea

The RÆBURN Women’s Dapple off-cut Shirt features an all-over digital print, inspired by one of this season's key Artefacts; A 1950-60s Yugoslavian Dapple Camouflage suit. Of Yugoslav origin, the suit, or coverall, includes leaf motifs that have been RÆIMAGINED on a repeat print. Manufactured at the RÆBURN Lab in East London from 100% certified Organic Cotton cloth.

Organic cotton is a bio-based material, making it biodegradable, fully composting after it has retired from use.

Organic cotton is a sustainable solution as it is grown without the use of pesticides, from seeds which have not been genetically modified, unlike regular cotton. It is also more sustainable for cotton farmers, protects their land and is more respectful for people.
